ESG glass kilns are proven workhorses, being used by high profile artists and educational establishments. These kilns (with the exception of the ESG67) are designed to reach 700°C in around 30 to 40 minutes. The ESG67 has reduced power and is more suitable for customers with electrical supply problems.
The heating elements are wound on the outside of high quality ceramic tubes supported in the roof. Vent holes are fitted in the roof. All kilns have a safety contactor as well as a main contactor, mounted in a control box to the rear of the kiln.
Maximum temperature 1000°C.
- All kilns carry a 24 month guarantee on all parts including elements, but not the thermal fuse.
- Stainless steel lid.
- All frames powder coated.
Basic kiln is fitted with a safety contactor, a 1050°C heat fuse, a type K thermocouple and a multi pin control socket, with a MITSCO 3300/3 programmer which has 2 metres of flexible cable.

A compact budget kiln, produced in quantity to keep the costs down.
The heating elements are in a quartz tube and the kilns is on castors as standard.

Fitted with an ST315 programmer which has 9 adjustable programmes with 9 segments in each programme. Each segment is a heat/cool rate, a target temperature and a hold. The programmer features an inbuilt heat fuse to protect against over firing.
