The EKC range of front loading kilns is extremely reliable utilising modern materials. The kilns are made with high grade insulation bricks and backing board. The door seal is maintained by a non-ceramic fibre rope that is set into a channel all around the front face. This is more reliable than a 'stick-on' fibre seal. The door surround is a hard wearing brick to reduce damage when loading and unloading. All doors are brick insulated. All kilns have a safety contactor as well as the main contactor. A heat fuse is fitted as standard and the programmer 'hard wired' with 3 metres of flexible cable. This would be wall mounted away from the heat.
Maximum temperature 1300°C
All kilns carry a 24 month guarantee on all parts except elements which have a 12 month warranty.
- Models EKC335 and above all have arched roofs
- All frames powder coated paint finish
- Two options of power supplies are given on some models in case of customer supply problems
- Both ratings will get to the temperature stated and the costs are the same
Price includes a MITSCO 3300/2 programmer, hard wired with 3 metres of flexible cable, and a heat fuse.
